Experiencing depression and anxiety can feel all-consuming at times and addressing the symptoms can take a great deal of focus. Creating space for yourself in therapy to address the symptoms and explore the causes can not only expand your ability to cope with life stressors but can also transform your relationship to your life.


Relationship Concerns

There is no doubt that intimate relationships can be some of the most rewarding, and also the most challenging, of the relationships we engage in. When facing challenges with your partner(s), therapy can be a space to develop better communication skills, discuss deeper needs and desires that we sometimes struggle to recognize, and to improve the experience of the relationship for all partners.


Self Esteem

Often we don’t recognize how we are talking to ourselves about who we are in the world and how we want to be treated. To recreate a relationship with oneself is to recreate a relationship with the world. In therapy, we have the opportunity to slow down the process and habits of this most personal relationship, gain a better understanding of it, and initiate change.

The experience of loss and grief is often more complicated than we think it will be, coming on when we least expect it, and not being as apparent when we think it would or should be. Engaging in therapy for loss and grief can give you a space to allow for the experience of the more intense and complex feelings and to explore ways of continuing to engage in your life while honoring your experience, loss, and grief.

With all of life’s stressors, it is no surprise that we often look externally to deal with uncomfortable emotions and events. Sometimes what was a once-in-awhile activity becomes more frequent and impacts our relationships and the entirety of our lives. Exploring how substance use or abuse plays a role in your life can be challenging but also rewarding. In therapy, the goal is to empower you to reflect on its impact in your life, to make changes you want and need to, and to live a life more closely aligned with your goals and purpose.

Good Faith Estimate

If you do not have insurance or are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
